Please complete all the information below and digitally sign the Code of Ethics. Please include your birth data, which will be kept strictly confidential. Once the Board of Directors has approved your membership, you will receive your new member packet.

The first year’s dues must accompany your application. Yearly dues are $40 and correspond with our season from September through August of the following year, regardless of when you join.

From time to time, the ASC can use a helping hand with various committees, projects, and activities. Examples include help burning CD’s, dubbing tapes, graphic design work, a Floor/Stage Manager, New Age Fair helpers, and help for various committees. 

I am potentially interested in helping in one of these areas, or in some other way not specifically mentioned above and have the following skills and/or interests:

We encourage all members — beginners and professionals alike — to proudly display their involvement with the ASC, making it possible for connections to happen!

CODE OF ETHICS

I, the undersigned, subscribe to the following Code of Ethics as a condition of membership in the Astrological Society of Connecticut:

I recognize that a precise astrological opinion cannot honestly be rendered unless it is based upon a horoscope cast for the year, month, day, time of day, and correct geographical location. I agree not to render such an opinion without this detailed information, unless the horoscope has been rectified by accepted astrological methods, or unless I positively state to the interested party that such conclusions are reached by alternative methods.

I agree not to interpolate or to introduce any interpretation or astrological deductions that are irrelevant to the science of Astrology without first stating that such deductions are neither based upon the chart nor identified with the discipline.

I agree to honor, respect, and hold inviolable all confidences placed in me by consultation except wherein they may involve an act of felony or treason. I agree not to use my identification with the Astrological Society of Connecticut in any unethical manner.

The Society reserves the right to terminate membership at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
