Lecture
Lecture: Thursday, January 21 2010 7PM
Dorothy Oja
The Davison Relationship Chart
Keeney Center
200 Main Street
Wethersfield
After using composite
charts for compatibility, Dorothy came upon the Davison Relationship
Chart, which gives an actual date, time and location, allowing for
progressions, solar returns and other methods one would use for any
other natal chart. She calls it the "Birthday of the
Relationship." She'll explore several examples and show how to read
the Davison chart.
Dorothy Oja - Mindworks is a career astrological professional,
certified ISAR C.A.P., with over three decades of study and experience,
and an international clientele. Her specialties include researching
dates for surgery, business, weddings, etc., relationship compatibility,
political/mundane analysis, and child profiles. A lecturer and writer
she’s authored two computer interpretive reports: Compatibility &
Conflict for Romantic Relationships, and for Business or Friendship
Relationships. Since 1997, she has published, Planet Weather, a free
weekly ezine. She also offers nearly weekly Podcasts. Dorothy assists
individuals with pragmatic counsel and eliciting the spiritual
imperatives of the chart. Her community service: former Chair of
AFAN’s Legal Information Committee, Ethics Initiative development for
the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR), Chair of
ISAR’s Ethics Mediation Committee, and currently ISAR Board memb/er

New Financial Aid Fund
Established
We currently allow you to become a member after
having paid 4 monthly lecture fees during one year (for a total of $40, current
ASC membership cost), but that may be difficult for some of us during this time
of high unemployment. Therefore, the ASC Board decided to establish a
financial aid fund for those members who are having difficulty paying this year's
membership. We have allotted 20% of the proceeds from the book sale this
fall for that. If you are one of those who would like to stay a member
but cannot pay either the $40 membership or $10 lecture fee and have been a
member for at least 3 years, please let us
know. We do not yet know how many people we can help, but email
President Pat Peabody if you're interested.

Don
Cerow's Special Stars, Myths, and Dragons
Celebrating International Astrology Day
Friday, March 19, 2010 7:00 PM
Exley Science Center
265 Church Street, Middletown, CT
on the Wesleyan University campus
$10 per person, half price for students
Why is it that the dragon - obviously a mythical creature - is found on every hemisphere, across far-flung cultures
and throughout the centuries? Astro-historical researcher.
Don Cerow retells a number of creation myths in this
Informative and entertaining “planetarium-style” show.
He offers a delightfully simple answer to this intriguing question as he displays the stars of the Ages of Gemini, Taurus and Aries (thousands of years ago), leading us
to the birth of Christianity.
DETAILS HERE!
We need help publicizing this
extraordinary event. We're especially pitching it to school classes for a field
trip and to boy scout troops for an astronomy badge. If you know students or a
boy scout troop in the Middletown area, please pass on the word. You can
even print
out this flyer and hand it out.
